Built on an F-150 truck platform, it's no surprise the Ford Expedition tows and hauls tons, handles exquisitely and has great fuel efficiency. Its utility features make weekend road trips and daily driving in Kansas City that much easier. Our Victory Ford team selected two such utility features for your edification.

Active Grille Shutters

Reduce coefficient of drag for better fuel efficiency and handling. How? You have to reduce obstruction of airflow over and under the vehicle. Luckily, the Ford Expedition does this with its Active Grille Shutters. When you activate them, the shutters conduct airflow past the underbody, reducing drag. Another benefit is improved, smoother, more efficient ride quality.

The High-Output Engine

The 2022 Ford Expedition's grille shutters come standard with the 3.5-liter EcoBoost, the base engine. It's one of two, its 380 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque amounting to heavy-duty towing capacities. The other engine is the high-output engine, its 420 horsepower and whopping 510 lb.-ft. of torque raising the max towing capacity to over 9,000 pounds.
