Are you a fan of sci-fi? Even if not, you’re likely familiar with the popular TV show that debuted in 1993, The X-Files. It became a sensation, not just with fans of Science Fiction, but many, many others. In fact, the show was the longest-running series in its genre.

This month marks a historic events for fans of the show. A special, six-week series has been created with the original main characters, Agents Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) and Fox Mulder (David Duchovny). The premiere episode was aired last night but the rest of the series will play on FOX at 8:00 p.m., on Mondays.

Ford has a long-standing history with the show. Back in the day, agents drove Ford Taurus cars. In this series, however, Agent Scully has upgraded to a Ford Explorer Platinum. It’s a good thing she did.

With all the driver assisted technology in the SUV, she can put more of her attention and thoughts to solving mysteries. And of course, outwitting rotten government officials’ intent on covering up things that the general population “doesn’t need to know about.”

We loved seeing the new Ford Explorer Platinum in last night’s show and look forward to other appearances by Ford vehicles in future episodes. We’ve heard that there will be at least one appearance by a Ford Taurus, a Mustang and a Ford Escape.

Here at Victory Ford, we would love to see you at our dealership as well. We’re conveniently located in Bonner Springs, Kansas, and have a bunch of really great vehicles on our lot and in our showroom at present.
