The Raptor is an F-150 special edition that is capable, powerful, and unique. The Raptor is outfitted with a High Output 3.5L V6 EcoBoost gasoline engine. Noted as being "bred in the Baja (desert)," the Raptor is built to impress. In addition to the raw power provided by the V6 EcoBoost engine, the engineers at Ford added more power by equipping the V6 twin turbo engine with Ford port fuel and direct injection. This is known as the PFDI system, and it helps to provide a whopping 450 horsepower. Need towing power? Look no further. The Raptors stock engine offers up to 510 lb-ft of torque.
Another feature affecting the performance of the Raptor is the standard presence (as opposed to optional) of the Trail Control system. Think of Trail Control as cruise control for going off-road.
